Cinnamon Swirl Crunch Bread is similar to Amish Cinnamon Bread. It’s a no-fuss bread recipe that requires minimal effort similar to my popular banana bread recipe. Just mix the ingredients and layer in the batter, cinnamon sugar and more batter on top. It has all the glory of a coffee cake without the work. Cinnamon Swirl Crunch Bread
Cinnamon Swirl Crunch Bread is a light but dense vanilla cake with swirls of cinnamon sugar throughout.
Ingredients
- 8 tbsb Kerrygold salted butter softened
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c 2% milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 c flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
Cinnamon Swirls
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Kerrygold salted butter melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Cream together softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add
- Add eggs, milk and vanilla and beat until combined.
- Add dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- To a separate bowl combine the sugar and cinnamon.
- Spray a loaf pan with nonstick spray.
- Add half the batter to the pan then top with half of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Top with the second half the of the batter followed by the second half of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Pour 2 tablespoons of melted butter on top of the top cinnamon sugar layer and run a knife throughout the batter to create those swirls.
- Bake for one hour.
- Cool for 15 minutes then slice and serve.
