This healthy light ranch dressing is perfect for ranch lovers that have health goals but still want amazing food. I’ve tried making a lot of light ranch recipes and am always disappointed. The taste is never quite right. With this recipe however both the taste and texture are spot on. This ranch recipe only consists of four ingredients: Hidden Valley seasoning mix, Fairlife skim milk, plain nonfat Greek yogurt and Hellmann’s light mayonnaise. Normally for the Hidden Valley mix you just add regular mayonnaise and milk. That is a major calorie buster so replacing the regular mayo with a 1/2 C light mayo and 1/2 C Greek yogurt you save major calories, fat and add more protein. Greek yogurt works because it is tangy like ranch dressing is supposed to be. It works really well in recipes that are supposed to have a tang.

 

I’ve been absolutely loving my small blender these days. It’s perfect for mixing this recipe along with my cottage cheese queso and light Alfredo sauce. What I love is that I don’t have to lug out my huge vitamix blender! It’s also great for mixing single serve protein shakes! Highly recommend! It blends everything together perfectly and you’re left with a smooth ranch dressing that is perfect for both pouring and dipping.

 

 

Light Ranch Dressing

A healthy light ranch dressing with the same taste and texture as traditional ranch dressing but a fraction of the calories and made with only four ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 1/2 tbsp Hidden Valley dry Ranch mix
  • 1/2 c plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 c light Hellmann's mayonnaise
  • 1 c skim milk Fairlife

Instructions
 

  • Mix or blend everything together in a small blender and refrigerate.
