Healthy dessert recipes can be hit or miss. Once you start replacing everything with something “healthy,” things get weird and it no longer tastes like dessert. Dessert has to satisfy the sweet tooth, or you’ll end up going back to the kitchen to search for something that will do the job. This macro friendly banana pudding recipe is the perfect light dessert that tastes amazing but won’t blow your macros. It utilizes sugar free instant vanilla pudding mix, skim milk and lite Cool Whip to create the pudding mixture. These ingredients are the swaps that keep the macros in check. The not-so-macro friendly ingredient is the Nilla wafers. There isn’t a good substitute for those that I have found. Keep it to one serving and you’ll be okay.
