My Grandma Connie lives on through her banana cream pie recipe. This is a traditional banana cream pie recipe with creamy vanilla pudding filling, fresh sliced bananas and a meringue topping that's toasted to perfection.

  • 3 Egg Yolks
  • 3/4 c Sugar
  • 4 tb Corn Starch
  • 2 c 2% milk
  • 2 tb Salted butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 1/2 Bananas, sliced
  • Pie crust
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/4 c + 1 TB sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
