A homemade version of the discontinued Kellogg's cereal. Rice Krispies get tossed with a mixture of butter, mini marshmallows vanilla and powdered sugar then baked to create crunchy clusters.
Melt butter in a nonstick pan over medium heat. Add the mini marshmallows, vanilla and salt. Mix until smooth and melted.
Add the Rice Krispies to a large mixing bowl and add the mashmallow sauce along with the powdered sugar. Toss everything together until all the cereal is coated.
Spread the coated cereal onto a line sheet pan. Use a spatula to break up the pieces into clusters.
Bake for 30 minutes, tossing and breaking up the mixture every 10 minutes. Allow to cool and harden for 30 minutes before eating.
